TeamNORCA Truck Race 8-24-2005

...when this mess happened. There were quite a few trucks battling for the win within a few hundreths of a second of each other, and somebody got loose, a few trucks bounced off of each other, and amazingly, I threaded my way thru the accident to finish 4th, I was running 8th or 9th before the accident. DroctorK won the race under caution.
...when this spin brought out the caution. The 69 truck got loose and then got some more help from the 8 truck, and that spun him around. We had another green flag run until the next to final lap of the race...
FINALLY, after my mess that was the last caution for a while. We had a nice green flag run until lap 38...
And after the restart for the previous crash, I brought out the caution yet AGAIN. On cold tires, I couldn't hold it thru turn 2, and unfortunatly I also collected 2 other trucks in my crash. Thank goodness after that, I did not crash again for the remainder of the race.
And after the restart the field made it amazingly to turn 2 this time! Here the 97 truck of rewster goes for a ride thru the grass.
After the green flag flew again, the field only made it to turn 1 this time before something happened. On cold tires, it was hard to control the trucks. Here the 33 truck of Banditt goes for a spin after getting loose coming out of turn 1.
...and it happened here. I got loose and made contact with the 81 truck of Sherlock, who went for a little spin.
The above photo is of the field diving off into turn 1 on the first lap, and with the field that tight it only took 1 more turn before the first caution...

The TeamNORCA Truck Series visited the Pocono International Speedway on August 24th, 2005, and it was a good race, it took a while to finally get some green flag racing in, but the race ended with a crash on the next to last lap. The above pic is of the field during the pace lap before the green flag was thrown, and suprise suprise, Jason35 sat on the pole.
