TeamNORCA Busch Race 7-23-05

The TeamNORCA racing league held a Busch Series race Saturday night at the Pikes Peak International Raceway.The racing was very good, and luckily I came away with a win. This was the first crash of the night, and it happened fairly early, within the first 10 laps of the race. The 98 car of Dad98 got loose going into turn 2, and the back end came around on him. No one else was involved in the crash.
This was the 2nd caution of the race. The 21 car got into the 4 car coming out of Turn 4, causing the 4 car to spin out. As with all the crashes, none were intentional.
This was the biggest crash of the race, involving 3 cars. The 97 car in particular had a wild ride.
The last 80 laps or so of the race was run completely run under the green flag. The 51 car led for a little bit while the pit stops cycled thru, then I took the lead again for good. There was only 1 other racer on the lead lap, he finished about 25 seconds behind. I must give credit to my fellow competitors, they raced me extremely cleanly, during restarts and when I lapped them and during the entire race. Great race guys!
